Kevin Mackenzie (guitar)
Kevin has lived in New York, London and now resides in his home
town of Edinburgh. He has a post graduate diploma in advanced
jazz from the Guildhall School of Music in London and has worked
with among others Benny Carter, Tommy Smith, Julian Arguelles,
Bobby Wellins and Kenny Wheeler. His bands have appeared alongside
Courtney Pine, the Jazz Crusaders, Ornette Coleman, Robben Ford
and Bob Berg. "Kevin

Dave
Milligan (keys)
Dave has a degree in jazz from Leeds Music College and is
one of the most sought after pianists in Scotland. He has
played with Art Farmer, Scott Hamilton, Pete King, Valery
Ponomarev and Buddy De-Franco as well as working regularly
with Carol Kidd.

Tom
Bancroft (drums)
Tom studied composition and arranging at McGill university
in Montreal. He has toured extensively with his own groups
"Kilt Couture" and the "Tom Bancroft Orchestra"
as well as organising large scale projects such as "Multi-Story
Karma Park". (a full multi media performance and a hit
at the 1997 Glasgow Jazz Festival). His compositions have
been used in film and dance and he has toured/worked with
Tommy Smith, Martyn Bennet, Sun Ra and many others.
Phil
Bancroft (sax)
Phil is as much in demand for his ability as a soloist as
for his compositions. He has written scores for film and dance
and won the 1998 "Herald Angel" award with the "Fresh
Mess" Dance Company. He has studied with George Galzone
and Dave Liebman and has worked with an extensive list of
jazz and rock musicians such as Hue and Cry, Ricky Ross, Ernst
Reisinger and Capercaillie.

John
Speirs (bass)
John is one of the most talented and inventive players to
come out of Scotland in recent years. He is in demand for
his jazz playing as well as working with bands such as "Tempis
Fugit" who were featured at "King Tuts Wah Wah Hut"
as part of Radio 1's Sound City .
